In the past, there were also small spas here that made use of this mineral water.  The history of the spas in Sabinov dates back to the end of the 15th century. Rheumatic and skin conditions were treated here. The foundation was the original sulphurous bath, or sulphurous water spring, which can still be found today beneath the riverbank in a hole carved into the rock. The spa was also a place of entertainment and relaxation, and provided simple yet effective treatments for rheumatic conditions. In recent years, the buildings have fallen into complete disrepair and have been abandoned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A place to rest, relax and enjoy sporting activities in \u0160vab\u013eovka Forest Park<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Latest project <strong>\u0160vab\u013eovka Forest Park<\/strong> The project, implemented as part of a cross-border cooperation programme with a Polish partner under the auspices of the town, involves the installation of entrance and information signs, benches and litter bins, as well as the upgrading and signposting of footpaths and cycle routes.
