This is the name given to a wooded hillside right next to the Torysa river. \u0160anec is mainly used for recreation and, due to its proximity to the town (with access directly from the main road), it is a popular destination in every season. The foot of the hill can be reached via various paths; the routes are known as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.regionsaris.sk\/prirodne-krasy\/svablovske-chodnicky-kupelny-chodnicek\/\">\u201eThe \u0160vab\u013eov Paths\u201c<\/a>. At the top there is a flat area where a ceremony was held in September 2020 to mark the opening of&nbsp;<strong>\u201eThe \u0160anca Lookout Tower\u201c<\/strong>. The construction of the viewing tower was made possible thanks to financial support from the Office of the Government of the Slovak Republic, as a means of promoting tourism and enhancing the appeal of the suburban<strong>&nbsp;\u0160vab\u013eovka Forest Park.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The \u0160anca Lookout Tower and its surroundings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The observation tower stands at an altitude of 465 metres above sea level. The location and maximum height of the tower were restricted due to the proximity of Ra\u017e\u0148any Airport, its safety zones and the need to ensure air traffic safety.
