Hradisko Archaeological Park In Lipany, situated in a quiet wooded area near the Rožkovany ponds, it combines a number of features.
History, tradition and crafts
It is a place where the past meets the present, where everyone can find relaxation and tranquillity. Hradisko combines an archaeological park in the form of a Slavic hillfort, a historic archery range, a petting zoo and a small amphitheatre for non-commercial cultural events and workshops. The site also features a small amphitheatre, which hosts cultural events such as the Dzedovizeň festival, which, in addition to music, singing, dancing and theatre performances, offers a variety of delicious Slovak dishes and the chance to discover the work and products of traditional craftspeople.
A History Festival is also held here, featuring the unmissable spectacle of jousting tournaments, belly dancers and falconers.

On the site, visitors will find a Slavic hillfort, a historic archery range, a wildlife enclosure and a small amphitheatre. The site combines history, nature and experiential learning, making it ideal for families with children, schools and cyclists alike as a pleasant stop along the route.
It is about a 20-minute walk from the bus and train station in Lipany. Hradisko is situated close to the town centre, yet at the same time in a peaceful natural setting by the water.
