Ski Drienica Ski Resort

Ski resort Ski Drienica can be found in the village of Drienica, Sabinov district. It offers its visitors ski runs of varying difficulty. The resort is an ideal choice for families with children. There are wide slopes and safe ski lifts for children. Neither beginners nor more experienced skiers will feel out of their depth on the slopes at Ski Drienica. The base station is situated at an altitude of 537 metres above sea level. The highest point of the resort is 762 metres above sea level, giving a total vertical drop of 225 metres. The resort has good prospects for a long skiing season, aided by artificial snowmaking.

At Ski Drienica, you’ll find as many as 11 ski lifts

The resort features 11 ski lifts with a total transport capacity of 6,900 people per hour. The total length of the ski runs is 13.2 km, with a total length of 2,450 m of ski runs, 2,450 m of which are covered by artificial snow, and 2,450 m of which are floodlit for night skiing.

For cross-country skiing enthusiasts, the cross-country trails are 20 km long. The resort has a ski, snowboard and other ski equipment hire shop, and a ski school with experienced ski instructors and a mountain rescue service. There are several tea rooms and snack bars right on the slopes. You’ll also find a number of high-quality accommodation options in the vicinity of the resort.

The resort was awarded a **** rating (the highest rating being 5) in the official 5-tier resort classification system of the Association of Slovak Cable Cars and Ski Lifts (Lavex).

The Ski Drienica ski resort is situated above the village of Drienica, approximately 4 km from Sabinov, in the Čergov Mountains.

The SKI Drienica ski resort is easily accessible by car, and you can park directly below the resort in the car park. The nearest bus stop is by the Javorná Hotel, from where it is about a 5-minute walk to the resort.
