Menagerie It is a petting zoo in eastern Slovakia, in the town of Lipany, near the Rožkovany Ponds.
It’s the perfect place for a day out with the children and offers family-friendly attractions in the Prešov Region. Here, you can not only see the animals, but also stroke them, feed them and look after them.
What you can look forward to at Zverinec
At the Animal Park, you’ll find more than 30 species of animals. These include both domestic and exotic species, which we are accustoming to human contact. Some roam freely within the grounds and you can stroke them or have your photo taken with them. When encountering the animals, we recommend staying calm and moving gently.
There’s also archery, relaxation areas in several spots, a treehouse and a small lake with seating. You can enjoy a ride on Mišo the pony or visit the children’s playground right on the premises. You can enjoy a snack in the tranquillity of the park, all within walking distance of Lipany town centre.

The wildlife park is situated behind the Hradisko Archaeological Park, towards the Rožkovianske Lakes.
It can be reached by car, bike or on foot. You can park in front of the Hradisko complex, from where it takes just 2 minutes to walk to the animal enclosure along a tarmac road.
